Mike Nahan

Michael Dennis "Mike" Nahan (born 2 July 1950) is an Australian politician. He has been a Liberal member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly since 2008.

Nahan first entered politics at the 2008 state election when he defeated incumbent Labor MP Tony McRae for the seat of Riverton.

An American by birth, Nahan arrived in Western Australia in July 1982. He was Executive Director of the Institute of Public Affairs, a right-wing think tank, from 1995 to 2005.[1]

Nahan is currently Trustee of the Parliamentary Superannuation Board and is Chairman of the Economics and Industry Standing Committee in State Parliament. [2]
